Los Angeles: 126 miles

When we arrived in West Hollywood our hosts were still at work and our bodies were craving physical activity.  Grunyon Park it was.  Our urban hike delivered sweeping views of Hollywood hills and the LA smog line.  We posted up at the top, shot the shit with an eccentric runner and soaked up some California rays.

When Nate and Ang got home at 7PM we were already parked in front of their apartment.  Not creepy at all.  After hugs, a little catch up and an unfortunate foot injury it came time to eat.  After discussing our options we decided on Farmer’s Market, which offered something for everyone.  Two bottles of wine, a little sushi and some Mexican food later it was time to head out for the evening.  After swooping through Venice to grab Lindsey it was off to Bigfoot West, where fancy cocktails and taxidermy meet.

Much like most visits to LA the night went way too fast. Posted up on the front patio we caught up on life’s happenings, laughed our asses off and engaged in quality conversations with strangers.  When the lights turned up at 1:30AM we were all shocked.  Did we really close down the bar on a Monday?  We sure as hell did and it was worth it.

Day 10,225. SoCal is kicking my ass.
