Last night when I returned home from the studio at 8:00PM I looked outside and saw a glow. It was familiar. It was promising. Yet I was so cold, so tired, and, oh so hungry. I texted Smashly, who happens to live in a prime aurora viewing location and asked, “are they dancing?”

“The best I’ve seen in a while,” she responded.

That was all I needed. I quickly put together my kit, recruited the hubby, and rallied the pups for a November night sky adventure. Between the dancing lights, the bright rising moon, and an amazing crew to mingle with between shots there were zero disappointments.
