When I got word that Lucius would be making a trip to Colorado, I began to rally the troops. Per the usual, we showed up in style. Camping Gear. Microbrews. Little dogs. Trucker hats. We had everything we needed for a musical adventure beneath the sun. Or so we thought.
After an amazing set, Lucius exited the stage and I headed towards the vendors to find a coconut smoothie. Looking to free himself from tarp jungle, Mike came along for the ride. Blame it on the sunshine, the beer or the fact that two awkwardly outgoing individuals were left unattended in this festival mass, but from there the exact order of events is unclear. What I do know is that within thirty minutes we were walking out of a trailer wearing tye-died onesies with a coconut smoothie in hand. I believe this is what you call a success.
Upon arriving back at the Great Divide beer tent, where our fellow festival goers has posted up, an exchange was in order. The onesie I was sporting was, unfortunately, not intended for me. It was a gift for Dan and I was just the courier. From the moment Dan and Mike stood side-by-side in their new tye-died outfits, there really were no words. There were a lot of looks, a few grabs and it often got uncomfortable. Luckily I had my camera with me to capture the reactions of the spectators.
